Mystery Shopping Scam Alert!
There are disreputable companies scamming shoppers. They are charging a fee to become a shopper and also charging a fee to start shopping. We DO NOT charge our shoppers and WILL NEVER charge a shopper to participate. One of the latest and more serious we've heard about is a company named ZYBAN Consumer Research Inc. which some shoppers are confusing with our company. They are sending out large advance cashiers checks to their shoppers. The shopper is told to send a MoneyGram or Western Union to a person in Canada, keeping part of the check for themselves. However, the check is not legitimate and bounces, leaving the shopper without any money to cover the MoneyGram. We ARE NOT affiliated with ZYBAN Consumer Research Inc. and we DO NOT send our shoppers any checks of any sort to cash. Our payments are processed through PayPal which is a safe and secure way to transfer funds. Please beware of this scam and do not fall victim to it. For more information, see FakeChecks.org. They are based out of Canada and not the US so please beware of them!
